Bumrah’s Completes 400 International Wickets In IND vs BAN 1st Test: 6th Indian Pacer in International Cricket
In Short. Jasprit Bumrah achieved a major milestone on Day 2 of the first Test between India and Bangladesh in Chennai. Bumrah became only the 10th Indian bowler. He is also the sixth pacer from the country to complete 400 wickets across all formats in international cricket.
Jasprit Bumrah completed his 400 International wickets in the ongoing IND vs BAN 1st Test. He became the sixth Indian pacer to do so. On Friday, MA Chidambaram Stadium became the witness, when Bumrah scalped three wickets and achieved this feat.
For his first wicket, Jasprit scalped Shadman Islam (2 off 6 balls) by knocking over his stumps. The second wicket was Mushfiqur Rahman. He scored 8 off 14 balls before getting caught by KL Rahul on Bumrah’s ball. At last, Bumrah clinically took Hasan Mahmud’s (9 off 22 balls) wicket. Virat Kohli took his catch in the slips.

India posted 376 on day 1. Bangladesh was struggling with 132 for 9 wickets. The Indian bowlers smashed their performance in Chennai.
